NEW FIBERGLASS TELESCOPING POLES

 

UltraBeam presents you the new fiberglass telescopings tubes used in the new antenna production starting from May 2010.

The new telescoping sections are made of a new particular neutral fiber which keeps the same mechanical characteristics as the one used till now, but it confers to the fiberglass telescoping poles three very important features:    

 

1)  Lesser visual impact 


2)  Visible movement of the copper-beryllium strips through the telescoping poles 

 

3) Increased UV resistance 

 

The ivory colour of the new fiberglass telescoping pole make the antenna much less visible Under particular light conditions and over a certain distance from the
observer the visual perception of the antenna elements is extremely reduced.
This is very important for those Hams who have particular antenna installation restrictions.
 
The transparency of the new fiberglass telescoping poles permit to confortably observe the movement and the position reached by each copper-beryllium strip.
This permits an immediate check of the correct performance of each Motor Unit but it also allows you to better understand how the antenna works and to see its various yagi-configurations on each bands and mode.
